Hi, my name is Sylvie Zünd
My passion for tennis began when I watched my sister, four years older than me, take her first lesson. Captivated, I started playing against our garage door and spent countless hours practicing with my brother on the tennis wall before I even had my first lesson. Since then, tennis has been a constant in my life—there’s rarely a day when I don’t pick up a racket.
When I started sports school and had to choose my career path, the decision was clear: I wanted to make tennis my profession.
At 17, I trained for two years at the Tennisbase Salzburg before moving to the Thiem Academy in Vienna. A year later, I received an incredible opportunity near Barcelona. After a trial session, I knew the CMC Academy in Mollet del Vallès was where I wanted to continue my journey. Since then, I’ve made significant progress and celebrated a milestone by winning my first ITF title last year.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family and sponsors. Thanks to them, I’m able to pursue my dream of a professional tennis career.
